Undoubtedly the openings and planning of new motorhome areas in our country in recent years are an upward trend and here on our blog we are explaining them to you.
Covelo: the new motorhome area recently inaugurated in Pontevedra
The new Covelo motorhome area is already an event in this area of the province of Pontevedra.
With the aim of diversifying tourism and attracting motorhome tourism and at a cost of more than € 30.000, a specific parking area has been allocated for 5 motorhomes or campers and services for them with an evacuation point and gray wastewater loading and black.
About the Covelo motorhome area
- Location: It is located very close to the urban nucleus of the municipality, between the old Travesía de Vigo and the PO-261 highway.
- Plazas: For 5 vehicles
- Services:
- With drinking water filling
- Gray cast
- Black cast
- Shade through the birch plantation in the RV parking space.
Salvaterra and your next motorhome area
The City Council of Salvaterra, with the objective of turning its municipality into a tourist destination, has just awarded the works for the creation of the motorhome area. Works that will begin this March and are expected to finish at the end of April. So for sure by June we will be able to have this area inaugurated.
With this new motorhome area, Salvaterra increases its tourist offer, consisting of the A Canuda Park, more than 30 kilometers of green paths along the banks of its rivers, the walled enclosure, the Science Museum of the Vineyard or the Leisure Thermal Space by Teans. Really a very interesting area to visit in our motorhomes.
The new Salvaterra motorhome area will expand the facilities dedicated to this type of tourism in the Condado-Paradanta region, where, today, there are five points to park and provide services: Arbo, As Neves, Mondariz, Salceda de Caselas and from this
week, also Covelo as we have told you before.
About the Salvaterra motorhome area
- Location: The infrastructure would be located on a 4.750 square meter plot located at the western end of Parque da Canuda, which will be occupied by 900 square meters. The terrain delimits to the north with the railroad track, to the east with the park and to the south with the Miño river walk, with a road at the west point that connects the walk with the center of Lodeiro.
