Alt Penedes is synonymous with nature, vineyards, good cava and water, lots of water.
After this time of seclusion by Covid, nature and all the activities we can do outdoors are more attractive than ever. For us this is the first Post-Covid outing, and we would never have hit the target better. After confinement we have tried to reconnect with the natural environment and this getaway has made it possible. We present our route through the Alt Penedes by motorhome, although you can do it by car or your own vehicle staying at multiple rural houses.

The worst of the motorhome route through the Penedes
- Incidents that we have had, such as seeing that the front skylight was pitted without having had any accident or mishap.
- The rural roads through which our rural GPS sometimes takes us, but that makes us discover spectacular places (everything has a good part)
- The heat in the motorhome service areas that most do not have much shade. Luck of the Viesa.
- The overcrowding in Sant Quintí de Mediona of motorhomes. The area was very very crowded even around.
- The night that the young people of St Pere de Riudebitlles gave us with the large bottle that was mounted next to the motorhome area. We were on the verge of partying with them! hehehe

What to see and do in Sant Joan de Mediona:
Camino de la Riera on foot or mountain bike
In Sant Joan de Mediona you can go hiking or cycling through vineyards along the path of the Mediona stream that connects different towns of Mediona with other surrounding villages.

Rock Climbing
On the way to the castle you will find two climbing sectors. If yours is a good wall, discover these sectors with good equipped roads, you will love them.
Craft beer and a great fair
Ales Agullons is a traditional and old beer. Discover its crafts and on the second weekend of June discover more than 70 craft beer producers at the Mediona craft beer fair.
