@blankaonroad is made up of Nani and Laia and their two children, Joan and Aina. An intrepid, adventurous, wise and dreamy family. There is no sport that can resist them: climbing, skiing, in any of its modalities, cycling or you can even find them paragliding! We also call them the biowikirurals, because there is no plant, bush, flower, animal, footprint or object that does not detail its name, even in Latin!
In short, they are incredible, one of those people who never cease to amaze you. And the best are family, great friends of their friends and the best people you can meet on a trip.

The Quercy Calcareous Plateau Regional Natural Park (Parc des Causses du Quercy)
The Quercy Calcareous Plateau Regional Natural Park is located in the South of France, in the Occitania Region.
There are many great points of interest in this National Park.
If the cities of Rocamadour , the sacred city, and Saint -Cirq Lapopie are its emblematic villages, the decorated grotto of Pech-Merle , the prehistoric Sistine chapel, or the abyss of Padirac are also the emblems of the classified natural heritage of Quercy.
But in addition to the colors of its limestone rock, the green of its valleys is also noteworthy . The Dordogne River valley and the Lot valley are two valleys in the Quercy region of France that you cannot miss.
DAY 1: We start the route: Millau Viaduct, the third highest bridge in the world.
Quercy, in France. We visited the area in 4 days.
We start the route from Sérignan where we spend a few days prior to the route.
We headed towards Rocamador. Our first stop was to see the fantastic Millau Viaduct , the third tallest bridge in the world . The viaduct crosses the River Tarn and is 2.464 meters high. It's breathtaking.
The viaduct has a Millau Viaduct information space which is located on the outskirts of Millau, just below the Millau Viaduct.
We arrived at Camping Yelloh Village Payrac les Pins. This is where we stayed for the 4 days we spent exploring the area.
Day 2: Gouffre de Padirac, the depths of the Earth, on our route through France by motorhome
The day after our road trip through France in a campervan, we went to visit the Gouffre de Padirac ( https://www.gouffre-de-padirac.com/es ). It's a 100-meter-deep cave, and you can explore it partly on foot and partly by boat . It's well worth feeling like an explorer in the center of the earth with this super fun activity.
Day 3: Rocamador, Monkey Forest, Prehisto Dino Park and the Martel tourist train, a round day for young and old
The next day of our motorhome trip through France, we went to Rocamadour , a very touristy town. This municipality preserves its medieval houses, its castle, and its seven churches and chapels that make up the sanctuary dedicated to the Black Madonna of Notre-Dame-de-Rocamadour. All of this is set in a stunning limestone landscape.
We visited the village, and took the opportunity to go to the Rocher des Aigles ornithological park ( http://www.rocherdesaigles.com/ ).
We continued our route visiting Monkey Forest ( https://www.la-foret-des-singes.com/en/ ), a forest where 150 macaques live and you can walk alongside them and give them the food offered by their caretakers.
The next stop was Prehisto Dino Park ( http://prehistodino.com/en/ ). A park with a really cool walking tour, about 2 hours long, where you encounter dinosaurs along the way.
Finally, our next option was the Martel tourist train. It's a short train that goes through many tunnels. There are two engines, one steam and one diesel. Depending on the day, one or the other will be running ( https://trainduhautquercy.info/ ). At the station itself, there's a small museum of vintage railway artifacts . Entry costs €1 and it's well worth a visit.
Day 4: Toulousse, Cité de l'Espace and Aeroscopia on our route through the south of France by motorhome
On our way back home, we stopped in Toulouse . We went to the Cité de l'Espace ( https://es.cite-espace.com/ ). A perfect place for space lovers, with rockets, history, meteorite fragments, and much more. Really cool, actually.
Since we were in Toulouse, we also took the opportunity to visit Aeroscopia ( http://www.musee-aeroscopia.fr/es ). Aeroscopia is an aeronautical museum . There are many aircraft models to see, including the Concorde.
