We leave Benasque for the national one already known national 260 transpyrenean, the road that has been taking us almost from one side to the other. And this section is often the worst on the 260. Neither the Toses pass nor the Seu d'Urgell a Sort section. The access of this road is like from another century. A road on the edge of a gorge that barely takes two cars. But more inri, huge Veri water trucks do not stop circulating. Total, with the California we already had some moment of having to stop with a truck, so if you go with the motorhome with children, a lot of attention and patience.
Someday we will return with the motorhome but I think we will go around the other road one way, although more kilometers are made to reach the Pineta Valley by motorhome, our next destination on this route through the Pyrenees by motorhome. The campsite is also next to where the great routes of the Valley depart and the information point of the Park.
The campsite where we spend the night next to the information center in the valley is Camping La Pineta. It has a pool and a mini club, which makes children have a good morning. From here we will make different signposted and guided routes through the Park's information point.
The Pineta Valley, located in the Sobarbe, stretches from the Pineta Circus, at the foot of Monte Perdido, to the picturesque town of Bielsa, where most of its inhabitants have been passing visitors who have not been able to leave those lands behind. Or so they say.
Pine, fir and beech trees cover the slopes of the mountains dotted with alpine pastures. We look up, the landscape of the high peaks makes our imaginations fly. In spring a blanket of flowers covers the banks of the river, adorning this spectacular Pyrenean landscape, which becomes the natural gateway to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.
The Plains of Larri, the Falls Trail, la Trinca waterfall, the Pineta Circus, the Hermitage of Samit, the Montañesa rock, the reservoir, are the paths and places that will accompany us, surely if we go to the Pineta Valley by motorhome. Memories that will no longer be left behind but will become part of us.
