The Tena Valley, where the Pyrenees kneel at your feet

1 of the 14 star destinations on the Pyrenees route by motorhome: Valle de Tena by motorhome

Valle de Tena by motorhome is the next stop on the 14 destinations of a motorhome route through Northern Spain that we tell you about here today.

Next, we invite you to discover one of the 14 destinations on our transpyrenean motorhome route. A motorhome route through Spain that crossed the Catalan and Aragonese Pyrenees.

A trip with our little ones, back then, very young, 1 and 4 years old, and with our California T4 van. A great trip that we will always remember with love.

Come on, let's go to the Aragonese Pyrenees in a motorhome, to discover it and refresh our summer!

We leave you with one of the 14 unique destinations on this motorhome route in Spain. Below you can continue discovering the 14 destinations of the complete transpyrenean route.

We hope you like it!

Tena Valley by motorhome: a perfect destination for families. Panticosa, Pueyo de Jaca, Lacuniacha, Sallent de Gallego, La Sarra and Formigal

We arrived in the Tena Valley by campervan spending the first night in El jackfruit, next to Subscribe. A very small town that lets you spend the night in its car park next to a playground, a fountain and the town center, where there is a good bar. There we meet a good family and Arnau makes friends. One of the great things about traveling in a motorhome with children.

We will visit Del Pueyo lucuniacha, a zoo where the animals are in semi-freedom. A destination for children on this route through the Tena Valley by motorhome. The truth is that we do not like zoos very much, not to mention that we avoid them. But this time the little friends were going and Arnau wanted to go. Being in semi-freedom we saw well go. And the truth is that we did not see animals badly, although we always feel sorry for these types of places.

From Lucuniacha the circuit continues in Formigal, even crossing the French Pyrenees in The Portalet, where you can see impressive views of the Pyrenees.

From Formigal we continue to Galician Sallent, a beautiful town. And to sleep we will The Sarra, one of the places we liked the most about the trip.

To get to Sarra there is a narrow, very narrow path, and once there, to get to the area where there is a restaurant and picnic area and from where the routes leave, you have to go through a strait between the reservoir and the hydroelectric booth where a long motorhome does not pass. The motorhomes stayed next to the hydroelectric power station, with the noise it entails. The idyllic thing is to cross to the other side of the hydroelectric house.

There we enjoyed two days of beautiful routes, bathing in the river, climbing with friends and very good meals in the restaurant and in the picnic area.

And if you do not see clearly the overnight in a motorhome in La Sarra, in Sallent de Gallego you always have an area full of motorhomes.
