8 tips to visit the Warner and not die trying

Looking for tips on Warner hours, queues, tickets, food and more? Well, stay in our article, where from our family visit experience we tell you what we would have liked to know before going.

The Kucavana family loves amusement parks. You can see our written experience in parks like disney in motorhome, Efteling Holland theme park super magical that we loved, popsaland in Belgium, a pleasant surprise, Legoland in Denmark, super cool, Energyland in Poland, a very cool super park, or Futuroscope in motorhome or as you want.

For those of you who don't know him, parque warner is a theme park located in the town of San Martín de la Vega in Madrid. It has 33 mechanical attractions, among which is The Revenge of the Enigma, the tallest drop tower in Europe.

And, as if that were not enough, during this month of October, Warner Park dresses up for Halloween and invites you to the scariest party of the year, adapted to all audiences, where you will enjoy a spectacular setting with characters and animations from all walks of life. corners, including Scare Zones for the most daring.

In case you dare, here are our 8 tips! Don't miss them!

All from our experience of visiting the Warner in a motorhome this past summer. So if you have a motorhome there is also an extra tip on where to spend the night.

Warner schedule to consider

Check the calendar on the official website https://www.parquewarner.com/horarios-y-precios/horarios , as there are several schedules depending on the day of the visit. The park opens its doors at 12 noon every day, while the closing time can be at 18:20 p.m., 22:00 p.m., XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. or XNUMX:XNUMX a.m., depending on the season.

The car park, however, opens at 11am and we recommend you arrive at that time to be able to park and avoid long queues. Keep in mind that the car park closes at 00h, although at that time, there are not many attractions open anymore except for the fireworks and, perhaps, the larger attractions and some restaurants.

Warner food and drinks to save

As expected, despite the fact that we don't like it at all, the entrance of food and drink is prohibited in the park, although it is allowed to bring a bottle of water if you go with children. We recommend that you take advantage of this opportunity, since you can fill it out at the fountains at the entrance to the services. Take note that, especially in summer, it is very important and recommended to carry bottles of water.

Likewise, within the gastronomic offer of the park, some options are more expensive than others. While the all-you-can-eat buffet is expensive (€22 per adult), fast-food restaurants offer sandwich, potato and soft drink menus for less than €10. An approach that can favor spending less and enjoying the park more is to eat well before entering at 12 o'clock so that, when most visitors eat, you can enjoy the attractions without queuing and save some money on restaurants.

Regarding food, you also have an option that can help you spend less. There is the possibility of buying a bracelet with the ticket All inclusive. This allows every hour to consume a menu from any restaurant. You can ask for one and all eat something every hour.

warners in summer

As we have said before, remember to bring refillable water bottles that you will be able to refill at the park's fountains and do not let the heat waves ruin your visit, since you will not be hot! There are numerous water attractions with which you can cool off at all hours and the queues have shades and fans that make the wait more bearable.

The only drawback of the most refreshing attractions is that you will be wet for the rest of the day, although it is a lesser evil that is accepted with pleasure if it is hot. Take technical sports clothing so that it dries before and that's it. And if you go in autumn, winter take a raincoat for the water attractions, although some are closed and others regulate their flow, you can get wet and not have a good time afterwards.

Warner tickets and app

Buy your Warneer's cheapest ticket here, On this website it is the best price that we have found TODAY (updating the post) from Warner, more than on their official page, which is where we bought it a year ago.

And if you buy the tickets on the official Warner website, buy your tickets on the web or app together with the parking ticket and a week in advance, it will be much cheaper! To give you an idea, we paid €132 for park tickets for the four of us in the family instead of the normal rate of €182. Also, if you buy them the same day, you will get a discount of €10 if you do it online.

We recommend you download the Warner mobile application, through which you can buy your tickets and even pay with bizum! If, on the other hand, you already have your tickets, you can synchronize them on your mobile through the app. In addition, it will provide you with additional information, such as the waiting time per attraction, during your visit.

If you buy the ticket online, you save €1. We pay €14 for the motorhome instead of your €15 rate. For cars, the price is around €8.

Our recommendation is that you arrive at the car park when it opens, at 11 a.m., so that you have the opportunity to park in the shade and avoid queues. The best areas of the car park are to the left of the car park as you enter, just below the bridge, for shade.

Another important thing if you go to the Warner in a motorhome like us, the entrance without height limitation is the one on the far left, and watch out for the bushes!

Pass Correcaminos and avoid queues at the Warner

Warner Park offers you paid passes to take advantage of some attractions, reducing waiting times. There are 4 types of passes and you can get them both at the ticket offices and in the park stores. They are passes valid only for the day of purchase and exclude some attractions. There are 4 modes: Correcaminos One pass, which includes access to an attraction of your choice for €10; the Silver Roadrunner Pass, which for €14 allows you 1 access to 14 attractions; the Roadrunner Gold pass of €48, which gives you 1 single access to 27 attractions and the Road Runner Platinum pass, which, for an extra €75 at the entrance, is the only one that allows you unlimited access to 27 attractions.

While a Correcaminos pass may be an advantage if you travel as a couple, for an entire family, however, it will be excessively expensive, impossible to afford, and you will have to resign yourself to the tempo of an attraction every 60 minutes, if Visit the park during the peak months of July and August.

We also remember that people with disabilities go to the attractions without queuing and that it is necessary to carry the supporting documentation.

Good advice from our friends at Camera on Route on your blog, https://camaraenruta.com/, is to go to the park very early in the morning and do the circuit in reverse, starting with the furthest attractions, so that when you reach the biggest attractions at the beginning, you don't have excessive queues.

The Warner is not pet friendly

Parque Warner does not have a dog daycare. If you travel with your pet, you will have no choice but to leave it at home or keep it in the motorhome if you have Viesa or an autonomous air conditioning system. Without this option, do not take the risk and do not take it with you.

Overnight prohibited at the Warner. Where to spend the night in the Warner with a motorhome

The Warner car park does not allow residential vehicles to stay overnight and closes its doors at midnight. After visiting the park, we recommend you go to sleep in the nearest motorhome area. This is a private area that is located in Pinto, about 00 minutes from the park, and that has all the services for motorhomes. It also has lighting at night and surveillance service during the day. For us, it cost around €15 for a 15-hour stay.

And remember, to park, especially in summer, park on the left when you enter under the bridge. It will be the best place to park, since it is the only shade in the entire car park.

How do you check the family ticket?

Does the roadrunner pass have to be added to the normal ticket? Or is the gold roadrunner pass an entry in itself?
