Hello, I have carefully read your blog and your advice in the manual for traveling by motorhome, I find it very complete although, as in everything, you can always advise, collaborate or contribute to improve. However, I find two of the most important to be missing; However, we have been traveling for many years (we are 64 and 62 years old, we are older, NOT old and we have been traveling, let's say since 4 years old) and they have always been the most important thing that they are:
1st it is very important to go out, travel, enjoy especially with the little ones; but more important is to return.
2º education and respect for everything that surrounds us, for example, and it is very common to find it anywhere, whether it is parking, areas, camping sites, roads, in the mountains; I mean garbage, it is very simple, garbage and other similar ones do not have legs, if we carry it, we will return it. With this I want to explain that if we respect (and the lack of respect and education is very frequent in this world of motorhome) we can all enjoy nature and the environment that surrounds it.

Excellent contributions Josep Mª and Mª Carmen. We certainly cannot agree more with those two premises. The idea of the manual is to share it with everyone, that it belongs to everyone and that is why we cannot be more grateful for your contribution, which we will undoubtedly add 🙂 A thousand thousand thanks! We are already lucubrando a new section of norms for the motorhome where the respect for the environment will undoubtedly be well highlighted, because not another thing, but in this family we have it as a priority 1. Well 1, 1 almost that would put the one to return jejejej what reason do you have!

Thank you very much for all the information you give about motorhome! We have been with the idea in our heads for a couple of years and it is true that we are always afraid to launch ourselves, now that the kids have grown a little, we see it closer, and with your information every day I have more desire. I love all the ideas, and we will probably look at the option of camperizing (I think it is said so).
It keeps giving me healthy envy that the bite worms me the most and in the end we jump into the pool

  8. Leonardo

    Hello Happy Holidays!

I have come to your blog looking for information about driving with a motorhome or camper this Christmas within your autonomous community and your province (Andalusia in my case).

I have come to the conclusion that I am going to make the trip with my partner and my pet. We will find a campsite or a place where you can park and it is allowed. We will settle in for 31.12/XNUMX and we will respect distances, use of a mask, curfew and other applicable regulations.

    Any advice?

    Many Thanks

    1. Kucavanera family

Hello Leonardo, everything you say is what is allowed and the authorities advise to do, I think it is really the most responsible way to travel these days. If we go to places where our overnight stay is explicitly allowed, campsites and motorhome areas, we will not have problems, as long as we clearly respect the perimeter confinement rules of each place. And then try not to socialize, open air, hygiene and distance as you say our best allies, without a doubt. This Christmas we continue to doubt whether to travel or not, but because in Catalonia the confinement is regional and everything is more complicated. A hug and always enjoy with caution. Happy holidays friends. Jose and Pilar

  9. Road and camper

Oh my! What a piece of guidance. We have to admit that we are more of a camper and more discreet vehicles but we have always been bitten by the bug to try one day and here is information to spend days reading. Congratulations on the job! because it is sure to help us 😉

    1. Kucavanera family

Thanks vanlifers! You are not short of info about the vans 🙂 Great job too 🙂

  10. Toñi

Excellent blog, I just signed up as we intend to rent a motorhome this summer, but due to the pandemic, we have any questions that we would like to ask, just in case you know something. If we travel through Europe, because we have a destination, eg in Hungary, do we have to take CRP to each country we cross or by road, do they ask you? I don't know if I have explained myself. Thank you very much and apologize for any inconvenience

    1. Kucavanera family

Well, it depends on each country, but normally it is a pcr of 48 hours before, so if in less than 48 hours you cross the different states, you would not have problems with the same pcr 🙂
