Videoblog Stage 5 and last Lake Constance by bike
Stage 5: From Kressbronn to Fußach, with a visit to Lindau and a ride up the Bregenz cable car to Mount Pfander (36 km)
Our last stage of this super cycle tour takes us from Kressbronn to Fußach, but before leaving, we have an obligatory stop in Lindau, a beautiful German city located on an island within Lake Constance. An island!
Lindau, we visit the fairytale island of Lake Constance
As I told you, Lindau is a place that we had already visited 15 years ago and to which we always wanted to return. The first time we arrived soaked by the rain in a tent and a nice yellow Seat Panda. What an adventure that was!
Upon arrival in Lindau, the beautiful island in Lake Constance, we find a lovely park with a huge elephant slide which delighted the little ones. This park is reached by the bridge next to the train tracks, right at the entrance of the island.
After a while of playing in the park, we went in search of a good pastry to have a big breakfast. Coffee and German cake with meringue, a delight to start your visit to Lindau!
The pastry shop we opted for, the Theater Café Lindau, It did not disappoint us, it was spectacular and we recommend it without a doubt. She had so many cakes to choose from and we were enthralled by the quiet terrace we sat on. Don't forget to try the lemon pie they have, brutal!
With our stomachs already full, we now set out to wander around and visit Lindau.

Already from the bathroom we enter Bregenz, one of the essential towns on Lake Constance in Austria.
Bregenz with visit to Mount Pfander
Once in Bregenz, the capital of Vorarlberg, we headed out to find a restaurant to try the culinary delights of Austria. After a delicious feast, we decided to go up to the Mount Pfander by cable car. The panoramic views of the lake and the Alps From there they were simply stunning.
At the top, our little explorers enjoyed a circular route with animals and abysmal slides. What a thrill to see the marmots and slide down those giant slides! Without a doubt, a very cool plan if you visit Bregenz with children that you should not miss.
