Brittany is made up of 4 departments : Côtes d'Armor, Finisterre, Ille et Vilaine and, finally, Morbihan.

Thus, being the most western region of France, it is a mountainous peninsula that borders the Atlantic Ocean with a very rugged coastline of great extension.

And of course with a marked historical past, Brittany was populated since prehistoric times, through Gauls and Romans, leaving their mark on all of them.
So much so that in Brittany 3 languages are spoken : French (official language), Breton (Celtic language) and Gaulish (Romance language derived from French).
