Our route through the Catalan Cerdanya in a motorhome or campervan
We start our route through La Cerdanya!
If it weren't for the Cadí Tunnel it would be one of the favorite destinations. We like this part of the Pyrenees because the mountains let the villages of the valley breathe and make them spectacular to see.
What can be done in La Cerdanya? Well, many things, we will explain what we have done. But to start here we leave you the summary of the route:

La Molina with children, first stop on our route of the Catalan Cerdanya
The first stop was La Molina! As you can see, we continue visiting the ski resorts but in summer.
In the morning we went with the cable car to the highest point «el Nido de Águila».
From up there, there are spectacular views of Cerdanya, Cadí (you could see Pedraforca!) And even the mountains of Montserrat.
Up there we have been able to see goats in the wild and look for geocaching "treasures".
Dogs can go up to the gondola and do not pay!

Llac de Malniu with children
Malniu lake route. We decided to go up at night so as not to find any traffic going up to the Malniu refuge, since it is an unpaved road and quite narrow. The truth is that we were right climbing at night and we could enjoy seeing a deer in freedom with very large horns.
In the morning we got up and did the Malniu lake route and some nearby lakes.
A very beautiful place but perhaps too crowded, it is a good place to bathe in the lake.

Lles de Cerdanya with children
From Lles de Cerdanaya we propose two plans:
- Route to the Orri lake. To be able to do this route, we spent the night at the Lles de Cerdanya ski resort (N 42 ° 25'50.1564 ”E 1 ° 39'59.76”). The route is easy and very beautiful. When we got to the lake we bathed, they say that the water of Lake Orri is not as cold as that of other ponds and lakes, for us it was just as cold! We ate accompanied by the cows that grazed around us. From the ski station you can also do other routes such as going to the Pera lake.
- We visit Rocaviva, a magical labyrinth in the forest full of sculptures sculpted in stone by the artist Kliment Olm. A different and entertaining visit where children can develop their imagination and discover what the sculptor wanted to do. To sleep we sleep in the AC area of Martinet (N 42 ° 21'32.7276 ”E 1 ° 41'48.0228”), a great area and with a bakery where they make giant and delicious croissants!
Puigcerdà with children
The towns that we have visited in Cerdanya have been quite a few and Puigcerdá could not be absent, it is the capital of the region and we really like to visit its lake and stroll through the center of Puigcerdá.
We also take the opportunity to shop and do laundry.
Meranges with children
We also visited Meranges, a very small town where we went to buy sweatshirts at the @ucnuk store and we also visited the Cheese Factory.
Before the Covid, in the cheese factory, they made visits and cheese tasting, now they only let us see the goats and sheep.
In Meranges you can also buy giant croissants.
In Meranges ... well, more specifically in Girul we discovered a very good and highly recommended restaurant @girul_restaurant.
Bellver de Cerdanya with children
Another town that we like a lot in La Cerdanya, and it won't surprise you, is Bellver de la Cerdany.
We really like to visit its square full of laps, its streets and the children really like the park next to the school (slide, zip line, swings…).
In Bellver we discovered the ice cream parlor @ pyreneum.gelats the ice creams were delicious and there was a great variety of lactose-free ice cream.
