A destination and a forest that you still don't know about the route through the Catalan Pyrenees by motorhome
The Port de la Bonaigua road is a must-see by motorhome; it's a spectacular drive in itself and well worth it, provided you don't get carsick. The scenery along the mountains is simply stunning and incredibly peaceful. There are no crowds, no queues, and no sense of insecurity.
We decided to visit Gerdar Forest and hike some of its many beautiful trails. We parked in the small parking area where the trails begin. We also spent the night there, enjoying the peace and quiet of other campervans and motorhomes in the shade of the trees.
From the car park you will find the routes marked with information panels at the entrance.
