We arrived at the Vall de Boí in motorhome. A well-known valley for us. It is not the first nor will it be the last time we go. Here you have another post of a 4-day getaway through the Vall de Boí where you can see more: Bridge of September 11: La Vall de Boí, hiking and climbing with children.

The first night was spent in the large parking lot of Taull in front of the impressive Romanesque church of St Climent de Taüll, which for € 5 a visit is not bad. It has toilets and a great playground. The village also has good restaurants and an excellent bakery farm.

From Taüll we can go up to the Cavallers Reservoir An excellent area for routes, hiking and overnight stays, but only vehicles less than 2m wide can climb, so suitable for the California but not for motorhomes. 

Now, for motorhomes you can stop at the Camí dels Enamorats parking and do a cool route with the kids around there not very long. Or go up to Aigüestortes parking and from there make good routes to the lakes or take a 4 × 4.

And after a good trekking route it is time to rest and pool in Inside. Barruera has a motorhome area for overnight stays, with a barbecue and picnic area in the shadows, excellent, facing the river and a soccer field. Close also to playgrounds and the municipal swimming pool that for 3 euros brightens the day. 

There, without a doubt, you can already go to the nearby butcher and prepare a good barbecue after a good time in the pool.
