The Empedrats route runs between Bagà and Gisclareny, the most uninhabited town in the province of Barcelona, with less than 40 inhabitants.

There are variants of the most famous Bagà route, a little longer of about 8-9 kilometers, leaving from L'Hostalet - La Salle Natura, making a circular route up to the Sant Jordi refuge, following the Camino de los Empredats. Walk the course of the Galligans torrent that we must cross several times, through places of great beauty: pools, waterfalls, ponds, jumps, large blocks. It is especially recommended to visit the "Kettle of milk".

From the refuge (1640m) the path goes up a little further to the Coll de Galligans and the Boixassa Pass (1780m) with great views of Cadí and Pedraforca. After that, everything is a clear descent to the starting point (L'Hostalet - La Salle Natura). All the way goes through a PR with yellow and white markings.
