There are 3 different proposals since you can enjoy them one after the other if you like carnival a lot and want to extend it!
By dates, you will not have problems, so you do not have to choose any in particular, you can go to all!
In addition, in the three proposed sites if you go with your van or motorhome you can park it and stay overnight without problems. In each of the proposals I tell you the area or parking that you have available.
As a good Empurdanese, I know these festivals in the area well, and have been able to enjoy them on numerous occasions since I was little. I know you liked them.
Almost all municipalities celebrate carnival with their floats and troupes, but these 3 will not leave you indifferent!
1 The first proposal is to enjoy the most traditional and spectacular Carnival in Roses from February 28 to March 4.
Roses for many years has a strong carnival tradition, where numerous collas parade with impressive floats to the rhythm of their dances and shows, seeking to win their famous colles contest.
In addition Roses offers activities and shows for all ages throughout the carnival. From children's costume contests to first-rate night dances, where the party ends in the wee hours of the morning.

You have a private area with all services for around € 15 a night, which is great, but then there are multiple parking lots where you can park and stay overnight without any problems. Those who touch the area of El Mas Oliva are ideal for their situation and above or below you can park without problem. Beware that there is a street market in that area on Sunday, and you will not be able to park in the open parking lots that stop. On the other hand, the market is not bad, it is worth a visit.

To park in Tossa de Mar you have the following parking lots where you can also stay overnight in most. For us the best is the one at the entrance to Tossa, which is not far from the center and where there are no space problems and it is free.
3 The third proposal on Carnival of Carnavals from Catalunya: Carroussel Costa Brava of the Palafrugell spring festival (middle of May).
This third proposal this year reaches its 57 editions. It is the most complete spectacle of the carnivals, where more than 35 of the best collas and floats in all of Catalonia each year parade in an incredible party and with thousands of visitors.

These three proposals are made based on being able to enjoy them one after the other, but I do not want to stop recommending the traditional Carnival of Platja d 'Aro and of Palamos, which together with that of Roses for me is the best that we are going to have this first week of March of Carnival.
