1 Zuheros is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

Visiting Zuheros by motorhome or without, its alleys, its white houses lattice with flowers, its castle built in the rock, its archaeological museum and its viewpoints with views of the Bailón river canyon, will transport you to the most endearing Córdoba.

If these aren't your passion, but you do care about animals from a responsible perspective, Zuheros also has a great option for you: Iberfauna , an animal rehabilitation and environmental awareness center. 3. A must-see in Zuheros is the Bat Cave . It's located in the mountains, in an idyllic spot, perfect for sleeping if you're traveling in your campervan or motorhome.

If you want to visit the cave, think that you must call in advance (957-69 45 45) and book (€ 7,5 for adults and € 5 for children over 5 years old). There are only 2 visits a day for a maximum of 30 people. . One at around 12 o'clock and another at 17 o'clock.

During the guided tours you will not see many bats, but first thing in the morning and at dusk you will see them enter and exit the cave. Quite a show.

During the visit you will find some beautiful caves with archaeological sites from the Neolithic and impressive sets of stalactites, stalagmites and columns.

You will walk all this through 700 steps (350 down and 350 up). If you carry a little one, you already know that you will have to carry it with you. There are stops that do not make the visit heavy at all, but if the little one weighs ... it is to think about it ...

4. The Subbética Olive Oil Greenway , which runs from Jaén to Puente Genil, passes through Zuheros . You can spend a lovely day in Zuheros, arriving via the greenway from Cabra or Doña Mencía (from the latter it's only 12 km round trip), where you'll find two highly recommended free motorhome areas or places to park your car.

The greenway path is very flat and very pleasant. Bring, yes, spare parts for punctures of wheels. Along the way you will find that there is a spiked grass that favors them.
