If you were to ask us which place left us speechless the most during our trip to Namibia, Etosha would undoubtedly be among the top contenders. Few places in the world allow you to observe elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, zebras, or hyenas in the wild, driving your own vehicle at your own pace.
For several days we explored the park's tracks on self-drive safaris from dawn till dusk, experiencing encounters with wildlife that we will hardly forget. Seeing rhinos walking just meters from the car, large herds of elephants in the waterholes, or lions resting by the roadside was an experience that exceeded all our expectations.
👉 We are finishing a complete guide on Etosha National Parkwhere we'll share everything we learned during our visit: how to organize a self-drive safari, where to sleep inside and outside the park, which camps we recommend, the best waterholes for seeing animals, maps, routes, updated prices, practical tips, and the mistakes we would avoid if we came back tomorrow.
It will be available very soon.

Skeleton Coast: Namibia's wildest and most mysterious place

Few places in the world combine the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, the dunes of the Namib Desert, and miles of virtually uninhabited coastline in such a spectacular way. Its name alone…

Sossusvlei and Deadvlei: Namibia's most impressive dunes
If there's one image that represents Namibia worldwide, it's probably that of the enormous orange dunes of Sossusvlei and the petrified trees of Deadvlei against the white, cracked desert floor. We had seen hundreds of photographs before traveling, but nothing prepared us for what we felt when we saw them in person…
